What is dimension? 
The power of different fundamental quantities in a quantity is called its dimension. 

Explain the importance of dimension in Physics. 
Answer: The reasons for which dimensions are required in physics are as follows:
i. Units of one system can be converted to units of another system. 
ii. The accuracy of the equation can be verified. 
iii. Various equations can be formed. 
iv. The unit of any physical quantity can be determined.
