1. The length of a rectangular field is 40 meters and the width is 30 meters. Its perimeter is equal to the perimeter of a square.
a. Determine the ratio of the length of the diagonal of the rectangle to the length of the diagonal of the square.
b. If the length of the rectangular field decreases by 10% and the width increases by 10%, what will be the percentage decrease or increase in its area?

2. x=6ab(a+b) where  and  If the length of a side of a square increases by x%, then what will be the percentage increase in its area?
