Rule 1: প্রদত্ত assertive sentence এর adjective এর পূর্বে a বা an থাকলে উদ্দিষ্ট exclamatory sentence টি What a বা What an দিয়ে শুরু করতে হবে। তারপর যথাক্রমে adjective, subject, verb, এবং sentece এর বাকি অংশ (যদি থাকে) লিখতে হবে। সবশেষে বিস্ময়সূচক চিহ্ন বা note of exclamation (!) লিখতে হবে।
Example:
1. The Padma is a very big river.
2. It is a very beautiful bird.
3. The sun shone very hotly overhead.
4. My hair grows very fast.
5. A little learning is a very dangerous thing.
6. It was an exciting game.
7. It was a very lucky day.
8. You are a great fool.
9. I have got a very nice gift for you.
10. He leads a most unhappy life. এই বাক্যটি দেখে অনেকের কাছে ভুল মনে হতে পারে যেহেতু এখানে most এর পূর্বে a ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু বাক্যটি সঠিক। Formal ইংরেজিতে এরকমটা দেখা যায়। এখানে most ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে adverb বা intensifier হিসেবে। অর্থাৎ most প্রকৃতপক্ষে very বা exceedingly এর অর্থ প্রকাশ করছে।
Rule 2: প্রদত্ত assertive sentence এর adjective এর পূর্বে a বা an না থাকলে উদ্দিষ্ট exclamatory sentence টি How দিয়ে শুরু করতে হবে। তারপর যথাক্রমে adjective, subject, verb, এবং sentece এর বাকি অংশ (যদি থাকে) লিখতে হবে। সবশেষে বিস্ময়সূচক চিহ্ন বা note of exclamation (!) লিখতে হবে।
